Chemical Fume Hoods

Chemical Fume Hood is three sides closed and front side provided with 5 mm thick clear glass / polycarbonate up & down sliding door. The fume chamber will be provided with a centrifugal blower mounted on top of the Hood / on the terrace, coupled directly with a suitable motor for sucking the fumes from the hood and forcing it to go out to the atmosphere through the duct. The blower and casing will be made of mild steel with FRP lining with paint finish.

Baffle arrangement	A stable, non-adjustable baffle with 3- Point suction on the back baffle to aid in distributing the flow of air into and through the hood. The baffle will be spaced out from the back liner and will be removable for cleaning.
Worktop	18 mm thickness chemical resistant black granite worktop
Sink, Water tap with drain arrangement	Worktop will have suitable SS sink with single way water tap will be provided at right side corner of the work top
Front Sash / Shutter	Vertical rising counter-balanced ‘Glass’ or Polycarbonate any other suitable material (5 mm thick or more) fitted in the powder coated GI frame. The bottom of the sash frame will have a full length of metal handle. The sash will be counterbalanced with weights to prevent titing and binding during operation. And clear sash open height will be in the range 700-800 mm
Service fittings	Remotely operated color coded (as per international norms) total three service Valves with flexible tubes & brass fittings (Valves for Nitrogen, Vacuum and Compressed Air).
Lighting	CFL type light (20 watts or more, 1 No. or more) with Light Fitting / Metal enclosure will be provided
Electrical Utilities	2 Nos. of electrical sockets and switches (6/16 Amps – North west / Roma), (230 V, 50 Hz), 3 pin sockets & switches will be provided
